2nd Commandment - Thou Shalt Not Make Graven Images

第二诫-你不可以制作雕刻的形象

What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it;

雕刻的偶像，人将它刻出来，有什么益处呢。

They that make a graven image are all of them vanity;

制造雕刻偶像的，尽都虚空。

His words were graven on my mind.

他的话铭记在我的心头.

I will mold him in my graven image.

我要把他塑造和我一样不朽的形象.

I will mold him in my own graven image.

我要把他塑造和我一样不朽的形象。

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.

你们不得把自己树立为偶像.

I've got a wold silver spoon, and a wold graven seal at home, too;

我家里还保存着一把古老的银匙和一方刻有纹章的古印；

That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!

用铁笔镌刻,用铅灌在磐石上,直存到永远.

He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall not be moved.

穷乏献不起这样供物的，就拣选不能朽坏的树木，为自己寻梢巧匠，立起不能摇动的偶像。
